How did it come to this? Proper grammar has been under assault for many years, and we’ve all witnessed (or been guilty of) abuses to the written and even spoken word.
Admittedly, even those whose profession is writing can make mistakes, present company included.
Sometimes I cringe at the most basic errors (to, too, two and/or their, there, they’re), but it’s certainly less offensive than fingernails on a chalkboard.
So as a nod to my English teachers who would chastise me for my own indiscretions and incoherent writing style, I give you Wally & Sid rehearsing for a play. With really crappy grammar.
