We’ve all had one-sided conversations. The kind where you’re waxing eloquent about topics as deep as the Mariana Trench, and some chucklehead (even a sweet, lovable chucklehead like Wally) is maddeningly oblivious to the world around them, and not paying any attention to your brilliance.
Intelligent Life
We earthlings assume we’re alone. Superior beings. Omnipotent. Sid certainly questions that hypothesis, and likes to engage in scholarly discussion with like-minded people. In this case, his intellect and desire to speculate about the unknown is lost on Wally. Sweet, lovable, Wally who sees, and hears, only what makes him happy.
Maybe Wally is on to something.
